Find Your Size
A perfect fit in a few minutes. It works just like our in-store measurement: find your thumb size, and we take care of the rest of the set.
A great set starts with a proper fit. When each nail sits right, your Studio Gloss press-ons look and feel salon-made, and they wear for longer. In our Nail Bars and Express units, our AI machine sizes you from your thumb. At home, you can do the very same thing with a tape measure, and you only need to do it once.
- A tape measure, or a strip of paper and a ruler
- A pen
- A couple of quiet minutes
Measure your thumb
Measure the width of your thumbnail at its widest point, from one side to the other. If you are using a strip of paper, lay it across the nail, mark where each side sits, then hold it against a ruler to read the width in millimetres. Measure both thumbs, as they can differ slightly, and use the larger of the two.
Find your size
Match your thumb width to the chart below to find your Studio Gloss size, from XS to L. Just like our in-store machine, your thumb sets your size for the whole set.
You are ready
Your size gives you a full set, with each nail graded to fit its finger. Choose your size at checkout and you are done.
Using thumb width as the guide, exactly as our in-store measurement does. If your thumb is below 14 mm choose XS, and above 17 mm choose L, then file for a closer fit.
Always choose the larger size. A slightly loose nail files down easily, while one that is too tight will not sit flush.
- Measure at the widest point of the nail
- Keep the tape or paper flat against the nail, tucking it into the sides to allow for the curve
- Measure both thumbs and use the larger reading
- Measure in the morning after washing your hands, when nails are most consistent
