What is the Studio Gloss AI nail-art printer?
It is the technology at the heart of every Studio Gloss space. It prints a design onto your nails with a level of detail that is close to impossible by hand, and far beyond what most salons can offer without a long appointment. Fine lines, intricate patterns and full artwork, laid down cleanly in minutes.
How long does it take to get a printed set?
Around 10 to 15 minutes from start to finish. What used to mean a long salon appointment now takes a few minutes.
What is the AI measurement machine?
It reads your nail size in seconds so your set fits properly. You will find it at the back wall of every Nail Bar and beside every Express unit. It takes the guesswork out of sizing, so you start with a set made for your hands.
How does the Studio Gloss Express work?
The Express is our self-serve unit, and there are two ways to use it. You can buy a set of blank press-ons and step inside the machine to have your chosen design printed onto them. Scanning the QR code on the back of the box activates the machine for 20 minutes, giving you time to create and print your design. You then apply them yourself, either inside the booth or at home. Or, if you would rather keep it simple, you can buy a set of our handmade press-ons with designs already handcrafted onto them, and simply take them away to apply, or apply them in the booth if you prefer.
What can I do when I design at the Express?
Once the machine is active, the choice is yours. Browse our library of over 100 designs, upload your own image, or draw your own on the touchscreen and let our AI reimagine it into a wearable design. At the Express, it is all one price, whichever route you choose.
Can I have my design printed onto my natural nails?
Yes, at our staffed Nail Bars. There, a design can be printed straight onto your natural nails as a gel manicure, sealed with a base and top coat so it wears just like a salon gel finish. At the self-serve Express, printing is onto press-ons only.
Does it cost more to upload my own design?
At the Express, everything is one price, however you choose to design. At the Nail Bar, prices vary by option: choosing from our design library is the most affordable, and uploading your own image costs a little more. (Amaira: add exact prices here if you want them shown.)

Our LocationsWhat are Studio Gloss press-ons made of?
Our press-ons are made from high-quality acrylic rather than cheap plastic, so they look and wear like a proper salon set. They are also HEMA-free, one of the ingredients most often linked to irritation in traditional gels.
Are they reusable?
Yes. Cared for well, a Studio Gloss set is designed to be worn again and again. Remove them gently, clean off any adhesive, and store them safely between wears.
How long do they last?
It depends on how you apply them. Sticky tabs are perfect for a short wear or a quick change, while our gel adhesives hold for longer. Full guidance is in our Application Guide.
Application GuideWhat is the difference between press-ons and gel wraps?
Press-ons are full nails you apply over your own for a complete set. Gel wraps are made with real, pre-cured gel that you apply, shape and wear with no lamp needed. Both give a salon finish at home.
How do I find my size when shopping online?
Use our Find Your Size tool. Your screen becomes the ruler: calibrate it once with a bank card, then measure each nail on screen, and we match every finger to your Studio Gloss size. No tape measure needed.

Always choose the larger size. A slightly loose nail files down easily, while one that is too tight will not sit flush.
How is sizing done in person?
At a Nail Bar or Express, our AI measurement machine reads your size for you in seconds, so there is nothing to measure yourself.
How do I apply my nails?
We have a full step-by-step guide for every method, from sticky tabs to gel application.
Application GuideDo I need a UV lamp?
Only if you choose our UV-cured method for the longest hold. Sticky tabs and our non-UV adhesive need no lamp, and our gel wraps are completely UV-free.
How do I remove them without damaging my nails?
Gently. Soak in warm, soapy water or use our glue remover to loosen the bond, then ease each nail off from the side. Never pull them straight off. Full steps are in the Application Guide.
Application GuideAre your gel wraps really UV-free?
Yes. They are made with pre-cured gel, so the strength and shine are locked in during manufacture. What would normally need a lamp is already done, so you get a real gel finish with no UV at all.
How are they different from nail stickers?
They are genuine gel, not printed plastic, so they wear and shine like a salon gel manicure. Simply apply, shape and go.
How long do gel wraps last?
Up to around two weeks with good care. (Amaira: confirm.)
Where do you ship?
We currently deliver across the UK. (Amaira: update if international.)
How long will my order take?
Standard delivery takes around 3 to 5 working days, with a tracking link once it is on its way. Full details are on our Shipping & Returns page.

Because our products are applied to the body, we cannot accept returns on opened or used items, in line with hygiene standards across the beauty industry.
