Step 1
01

Shape your natural nails

Trim and file your natural nails to your preferred length and shape. Short and smooth gives the best base for a lasting hold.

02

Push back and buff

Gently push back your cuticles with the crystal stick, then lightly buff the surface of each nail until the shine is gone. A soft matte surface helps everything grip.

Step 2
Step 3
03

Clean and dry

Wipe each nail with the cleaning wipe to remove any oil and dust. Your nails must be completely clean and dry before you go on. This one step makes the biggest difference to how long your set lasts.

04

Match your sizes

Lay out your set and match each nail to the right finger before you fix anything. Set them out in order so application runs smoothly.

Step 4
Step 5
05

Apply the solid gel glue

Take a small, pea-sized amount of solid gel glue and apply it to the back of your Studio Gloss nail. Use enough for full coverage without overflow. Keep any excess for next time.

06

Align and press

Line the nail up at the cuticle and press down firmly from the centre outwards, squeezing out any air bubbles. If any gel escapes the sides, wipe it away gently with your crystal stick.

Step 6
Step 7
07

Cure under the lamp

Place your hand under your Studio Gloss UV lamp and cure for sixty to one hundred and twenty seconds. For deeper or solid colours, cure a little longer to make sure the gel sets fully.

08

Check and finish

Once cured, check each edge is sealed and flush. Your set is ready to wear straight away, with no drying time.

Step 8
Removal & reuse

Apply glue remover around the edges, then gently ease each nail open with your crystal stick. If it resists, do not force it. Keep the crystal stick in the gap, add more remover between the nail and the press-on, and repeat until it lifts away cleanly.
