Step 1
01

Shape your natural nails

Trim and file your natural nails to your preferred length and shape. Short and smooth gives the best base for a lasting hold.

02

Push back and buff

Gently push back your cuticles with the crystal stick, then lightly buff the surface of each nail until the shine is gone. A soft matte surface helps everything grip.

Step 2
Step 3
03

Clean and dry

Wipe each nail with the cleaning wipe to remove any oil and dust. Your nails must be completely clean and dry before you go on. This one step makes the biggest difference to how long your set lasts.

04

Match your sizes

Lay out your set and match each nail to the right finger before you fix anything. Set them out in order so application runs smoothly.

Step 4
Step 5
05

Apply the semi-solid glue

Apply an even layer of semi-solid glue to your natural nail, or to the underside of your Studio Gloss nail, whichever you find easier. Use enough to cover without overflowing. You will quickly find the right amount with a little practice.

06

Press and hold

Line your Studio Gloss nail up at the cuticle and press down firmly. Press from side to side for around twenty seconds to remove any air bubbles and set the bond. Work one nail at a time.

Step 6
Step 7
07

Settle the set

Once all ten are on, press each one again around the edges. Wipe away any glue that has escaped the sides with a dry pad first, or the glue remover if it has already set.

08

Let it set

Keep your hands dry and avoid water for one hour, so the glue can set properly.

Step 8
Removal & reuse

Apply glue remover around all the edges, then use your crystal stick to tilt and gently ease the nail open and off. Apply a little remover to your natural nails afterwards. As this is a long-wear hold, take your time and let the remover do the work rather than forcing anything.
